Abstract:V diplomskem delu je bila izvedena teoretična in primerjalna analiza dveh vprašalnikov, ki se uporabljata za merjenje samozaščitnega vedenja na področju informacijske varnosti, Behavior Intention Scale (SeBIS) in The Human Aspects of Information Security Questionnaire (HAIS-Q).

Title:Analysis of existing questionnaires for measuring self-protective behavior in the field of information security
Abstract:A theoretical and comparative analysis of two questionnaires used to measure self-protective behavior in the field of information security, SeBIS and HAIS-Q, was conducted in this thesis. The research did not include empirical data collection but was based on a qualitative approach and a systematic review of scientific literature. The questionnaires were analyzed in terms of structure, dimensions, measurement scales used, length, reliability and validity, as well as adaptability to different cultural and demographic contexts. It was found that SeBIS enables faster assessment of basic security habits, whereas HAIS-Q provides a more comprehensive evaluation of behavioral, cognitive, and emotional components of information security. Both instruments demonstrated satisfactory psychometric properties, with differences observed in the breadth of content coverage and applicability depending on the research objective. The importance of the human factor and the role of a high-quality questionnaire in understanding and promoting secure user behavior were emphasized.
