Abstract:Mikroorganizmi v tleh so temeljnega pomena za vzdrževanje zdravih in rodovitnih tal.

Title:Influence of composted spent mushroom substrate on the composition of specific soil microorganisms in different seasons
Abstract:Soil microorganisms are essential for maintaining healthy and fertile soils. The aim of this master's thesis was to investigate the influenceof adding spent mushroom substrate, a by-product of the fast-growing mushroom production, on the diversity and richness of soil microorganisms. Plots on three different farms (integrated, organic and biodynamic) were fertilised with spent mushroom substrate. The diversity and abundance of microorganisms was determined between plots with different treatments: an unfertilised plot (C), a plot fertilised with the standard fertiliser (S) of a given farm, and a plot fertilised with spent mushroom substrate, where the substrate replaced half (S+IGS) or all (S) of the added N compared to the standard fertiliser. The results showed that the lowest number of microorganisms was observed in winter for all included groups (actinomycetes, total number of microorganisms and fungi). The seasonal differences had a significant impact on the transition from winter to a warmer period, while the differences between spring, summer and autumn were less pronounced. IGS had the greatest potential to stimulate microbial growth in all three farms, especially in the warmer months, while the combination of fertilisers (S+IGS) did not show synergistic effects in most cases, contrary to expectations. IGS also had a positive effect on the diversity of microorganisms in the soil on all three farms by introducing new colonies, with this effect being most pronounced in the summer and winter months. The combined fertilisation also showed no synergistic effect.
