Abstract:V tem diplomskem delu smo razvili krmni navtični pogon za manjša plovila.

Title:Inboard marine drives system for small boats
Abstract:In this thesis, a marine propulsion system for small vessels was developed. The project was conducted as an internal initiative within a company seeking to enter the market of electric marine propulsion systems for vessels up to 25 kW. The primary objective was to design a final product that is both universal and compact. In addition to the electric motor, a crucial component of the drive is its planetary gearbox. Since the propulsion system is electric, a control unit was integrated, and due to its water-cooling, a pumping unit was also incorporated. By employing engineering design methodologies, the propulsion system was refined to the prototype stage, which is planned for manufacturing and testing in the near future. Standard components and existing solutions were utilized wherever possible to ensure both robustness and cost-effectiveness. The design was simulated and developed with consideration for future production, should the propulsion system achieve commercial success in the market.
