V nalogi smo uporabili pravo človeško kri z antikoagulantom (K3EDTA) in poustvarili pogoje, pod katerimi so svoje poskuse delali avtorji.

Title:The possibility of determining the height of blood drops, based on size and morphological characteristics of bloodstains
Abstract:Bloodstain pattern analysis is used at crime scenes where bloodshed has occured. It is used to determine the sequence of events, the positions of people and objects that were used. When analyzing the shape of bloodstains resulting from blood hitting the ground perpendicularly, the main problem is not knowing the volume of the blood drop that created the bloodstain, which means that based solely on the diameter of the bloodstain, we cannot calculate the distance the blood traveled before landing on the ground. Over the decades, various methods and techniques have been developed to determine the height origin of a blood drop. The biggest challenge is to determine the height from which the blood fell perpendicularly onto the surface. The basic procedure, in which bloodstains are not destroyed in order to determine the 3D origin of the blood from the surface, has been known and used in practice for more than 50 years, as have its limitations and updates. Practical methods for determining the height from which a blood drop originated and hit the surface perpendicularly, where the stains would not be destroyed, have not yet been developed. In this thesis, we examine an article in which the authors claim that they can use awalata dye as blood and determine the height from which the dye drop fell perpendicularly onto the substrate. We used real human blood with anticoagulant (K3EDTA) and recreated the conditions under which the authors conducted their experiments. We expanded the task and conducted experiments with two different blood volumes on different surfaces and measured the diameter of the stains, their spines, satellites, and the average distance between their satellites to determine whether these IV variables can be used to determine the height from which the blood drop fell perpendicularly onto the substrate. In this paper, we conclude that based on the morphological characteristics of a blood stain, we cannot determine the height from which the blood drop originated and fell perpendicularly onto the surface.
