Abstract:Prenova poslovne aplikacije iz Windows Forms in .NET Core 4 v sodobno arhitekturo .NET 7 z MAUI Blazor in ločenim REST API je omogočila pomembne tehnične in funkcionalne izboljšave.

Title:The quality impact of software redevelopment using the MAUI Bazor
Abstract:The modernization of the business application from Windows Forms and .NET Core 4 to a contemporary .NET 7 architecture using MAUI Blazor and a separate REST API enabled significant technical and functional improvements. A comparison of metrics before and after the upgrade (LOC, cyclomatic complexity, WMC, coupling) showed reduced complexity, lower redundancy, and increased modularity and reusability of code. Developer productivity improved, the time needed to deploy changes to production decreased, and system stability remained high, confirmed by a low number of open defects and faster execution of development tasks. User experience analysis revealed that the modernization improved not only technical aspects but also the interaction of end users with the application. Users reported a more intuitive interface, faster completion of key tasks, and greater overall satisfaction. Overall, the modernization confirmed the advantages of modern architectures and modular development approaches, which enhance the stability, maintainability, and user experience of the entire system.
