Abstract:	V diplomskem delu smo predstavili družinsko podjetje in dopolnilno dejavnost na kmetiji, izletniško kmetijo. Navedli smo gostinske in negostinske oblike turistične kmetije in značilnosti izletniške kmetije. Predstavili smo družinsko podjetje in značilnosti družinskega podjetja. Predstavili smo še prednosti in slabosti družinskega podjetja ter prednosti in slabosti izletniške kmetije, ki jih bomo medsebojno primerjali. V družinskem podjetju je v ospredju družina, zato smo predstavili vlogo družine, vlogo članov družine, odnose med člani družine družinskega podjetja in vpliv na razvoj in delovanje družinskega podjetja. Predstavili smo odnose in konflikte med člani družine družinskega podjetja ter posebej izpostavili odnose, ki pomembneje vplivajo na razvoj in delovanje družinskega podjetja (odnos starši - otroci, odnos med sorojenci in medgeneracijski odnos v družinskem podjetju). V nadaljevanju smo se osredotočili na opredelitev nasledstva in zakaj je potrebno v družinskem podjetju planirati nasledstvo. Opisali smo proces nasledstva ter dejavnike, ki vplivajo na proces nasledstva ob nasledstvu, nasledstvene možnosti in probleme, ki nastanejo ob nasledstvu.V praktičnem delu diplomskega dela smo teoretična izhodišča povezali z izbrano raziskovano Izletniško kmetijo Isabela, dopolnilna dejavnost na kmetiji. Predstavili smo zgodovino Izletniške kmetije Isabela in njihov razvoj. Predstavili smo še prednosti in slabosti na Izletniški kmetiji Isabela. Predstavili smo družino in vloge članov družine Izletniške kmetije Isabela. Nato smo podrobneje predstavili odnose in konflikte med družinskimi člani na preučevani izletniški kmetiji, še posebej odnos med starši in otroci, odnos med sorojenci in medgeneracijski odnos, ter opisali njihov vpliv na razvoj in delovanje Izletniške kmetije Isabela. Navedli smo kateri dejavniki vplivajo na proces nasledstva na tej Izletniški kmetiji Isabela, kakšne so nasledstvene možnosti ter kakšni problemi lahko pri nasledstvu nastanejo. Za zaključek smo dodali priporočila za odnose in nasledstvo na Izletniški kmetiji Isabela.

Title:	Family Business Relations and Succession: The Case of Tourist Farm Isabela as a Supplementary On-Farm Activity
Abstract:	In this thesis, we presented the concept of a family business and a supplementary on-farm activity – a tourist farm offering day trips. We outlined the catering and non-catering forms of tourist farms and the specific characteristics of a day-trip farm. We introduced the concept of a family business and its defining features. Furthermore, we discussed the advantages and disadvantages of family businesses and tourist farms, and compared them with one another. Since the family plays a central role in a family business, we explored the role of the family, the roles of individual family members, and the relationships among them, as well as their impact on the development and functioning of the family business. We analyzed family dynamics and conflicts within the family business, with special attention given to relationships that have a significant influence on the business's development – namely, parent–child relations, sibling relations, and intergenerational dynamics. Next, we focused on the definition and importance of succession planning in a family business. We described the succession process, the factors influencing it, succession options, and potential challenges that may arise. In the empirical part of the thesis, we linked theoretical insights with the selected case study of Izletniška kmetija Isabela, a supplementary on-farm tourist activity. We presented the history and development of the Isabela Tourist Farm, and highlighted its strengths and weaknesses. We introduced the family and described the roles of individual family members. We then examined the relationships and conflicts among the family members, particularly the parent–child, sibling, and intergenerational relations, and their impact on the development and operations of the farm. We identified the factors influencing the succession process, the succession options available, and the potential problems that may occur. Finally, we offered recommendations for managing relationships and succession planning at Izletniška kmetija Isabela.
