Da bi preprečili bolezni in okrepili zdravje, se na področju javnega zdravja izvajajo številne preventivne dejavnosti. Te aktivnosti potekajo v obliki preventivnih programov, ki jih pripravljajo usposobljene organizacije po vsej Sloveniji, med drugim zdravstvenovzgojni centri in centri za krepitev zdravja.

Numerous preventive activities are being carried out in the field of public health to prevent diseases and promote health. These activities take the form of preventive programs prepared by qualified organizations throughout Slovenia, including health education centers and health promotion centers.
