Abstract:	Diplomsko delo se osredotoča na kršenje človekovih pravic in prekoračitev policijskih pooblastil v cestnem prometu. Osredotoča se na podobnosti in razlike pri pooblastilih, ki jih imajo policisti pri izvajanju nadzora cestnega prometa. Poudarja pomembnost razlik v namenu in obsegu policijskih pooblastil za zagotavljanje zakonitosti in varstva človekovih pravic. Prav tako se osredotoča na posege v pravico do zasebnosti in varstvo osebne svobode pri policijskem nadzoru cestnega prometa. V diplomskem delu je izvedena analiza normativne ureditve, smernic dela policije in poročil nekaterih organov, ki izvajajo državni in nedržavni nadzor nad delom policije. Analiza ugotavlja potrebo po izboljšanju predpisov na področju izvajanja policijskih pooblastil v cestnem prometu, skupaj s potrebo po večji usposobljenosti policistov in izboljšanju notranjega nadzora v policijo.

Title:	Violations of human rights and exceeding police powers in the supervision of road traffic
Abstract:	The thesis focuses on the violation of human rights and the exceeding of police powers in road traffic. It examines the similarities and differences in the authority granted to police officers when conducting road traffic supervision. The thesis emphasizes the importance of distinguishing between the purpose and scope of police powers to ensure legality and the protection of human rights. It also addresses infringements on the right to privacy and the protection of personal freedom during police road traffic control. The thesis includes an analysis of legal regulations, police work guidelines, and reports from various bodies that perform state and non-state oversight of police work. The analysis highlights the need for improvements in legal acts related to the execution of police powers in road traffic, along with a greater need for police training and stronger mechanisms of internal oversight within the police force.
