Abstract:Otroci s posebnimi potrebami, predvsem otroci z motnjo vida, so velikokrat prikrajšani za različne aktivnosti v svojem življenju. Takšne predstave spodbujajo komunikacijo, krepijo senzorično zaznavanje in utrjujejo občutek vključenosti v družbo. Ravno to raznolikost in vpliv teh občutkov smo želeli raziskati v našem magistrskem delu.

Title:Multisensory performance for children with special needs with an emphasis on children with visual impairments
Abstract:Children with special needs, especially those with visual impairments, are often deprived of various activities in their lives. They frequently cannot actively and equally participate in cultural activities, as these are in most cases not specifically adapted to their needs. Nowadays, we strive to include them in diverse activities through the use of various adapted tools, which allows them to lead a more fulfilling life. One such activity is a multisensory performance, a form of theatrical or experiential activity that seeks to bring a real experience closer to children through the use of different senses (smell, touch, hearing, sight). Such performances encourage communication, strengthen sensory perception, and reinforce the sense of inclusion in society. It is precisely this diversity and the impact of these sensations that we aimed to explore in our master's thesis. Through the multisensory performance we prepared, we sought to explore how, through play, we could involve children in the action itself and, with the help of their senses, develop sensory perceptions and enrich their experience of the world.
