V nalogi proučujemo, kako različni vidiki vodenja vplivajo na uspešnost organizacije, in s pomočjo študije primera omogočamo vpogled v praktično izvajanje vodenja v izbranem mikro podjetju. S pomočjo polstrukturiranega intervjuja z lastnikom podjetja avtor analizira njegov način vodenja, osebnostne značilnosti in uporabo različnih stilov ter teorij vodenja.

Title:Leadership, leadership theories and personality characteristics of contemporary leader
Abstract:The thesis explores leadership as a key factor in organizational success, with a particular focus on the role of the leader and employees, situational factors, and contemporary trends influencing leadership in a dynamic business environment. The study examines how different aspects of leadership affect organizational performance and, through a case study, provides insight into the practical application of leadership in a selected microenterprise. The theoretical part of the thesis defines the fundamental concepts of leadership and the role of the leader and analyzes classical leadership styles and their key functions. It further presents selected leadership theories, categorized according to four central factors: the leader, the employees, the situation, and modern business conditions. Special attention is given to contemporary leadership approaches that respond to challenges such as digitalization, increased market complexity, and the need for agility. The empirical part is based on a case study of the micro service company AG, d.o.o. Using a semi-structured interview with the company’s owner, the author analyzes his leadership style, personal characteristics, and the application of various leadership styles and theories. The case study also highlights the role of employees, the impact of specific situations, and responses to modern leadership challenges. Based on the findings, the thesis proposes suggestions for improving leadership in small businesses and offers recommendations for economic policy makers, who could encourage the development of effective leadership practices in micro and small enterprises through appropriate systemic measures.
