Abstract:Namen magistrskega dela je presoditi ekonomsko upravičenost postavitve novega vinograda na kmetiji Podlesnik z razvojem tehnološko-ekonomskega simulacijskega modela, ki povezuje tehnološke odločitve s stroški, prihodki in naložbenimi kazalniki: finančni rezultat (FR), koeficient ekonomičnosti (KE), neto sedanja vrednost (NSV), interna stopnja donosnosti (ISD), povračilna doba investicije ter letni denarni tok (LDT).

Title:Business Plan for Grape Production
Abstract:This thesis assesses the economic feasibility of establishing a one-hectare vineyard on the Podlesnik farm using a techno-economic simulation model that links technological choices to costs, revenues, and investment criteria: net present value (NPV), internal rate of return (IRR), payback period, annual cash flow, and benefit–cost ratio. The 25 year model calculates cost structure and cash flows from inputs on planting density, yields, prices, labour, and machinery. The investment assumes 4,831 vines/ha (0.9 × 2.3 m) with an upfront outlay of 28,983.37 € and yield ramps 0/0/4,000/8,000/12,000 kg/ha in years one to five. At a selling price of 0.80 €/kg, the annual cash flow is 6,453.49 € and the benefit–cost ratio 1.78. At a 5% discount rate, NPV turns positive in year ten and IRR equals 5.06%. The sensitivity analysis shows the selling price as the dominant risk: at 0.60 €/kg, annual cash flow falls to 4,053.49 €, the benefit–cost ratio to 1.39, and payback extends to sixteen years. Conversely, 30 % grants shorten payback to eight years (IRR 5.55%), while 50 % grants reduce it to seven years (IRR 7.45%). Overall, grape production is economically viable in full bearing. Payback occurs in year ten under baseline assumptions, and the selling price chiefly determines payback, with grants providing meaningful risk mitigation.
