Abstract:Diplomsko delo obravnava zasnovo avtomatiziranega transportnega sistema za kontrolo jeklenih palic z magnetnimi delci.

Title:Steel bar transport system design for magnetic particle inspection
Abstract:The thesis addresses the design of an automated transport system for the inspection of steel bars using magnetic particle testing. Based on the client’s requirements, we developed a comprehensive concept for the transport, ejection, and storage of bars of various cross-sections up to 8 m in length. Mechanical and optical solutions were applied, and analytical calculations of critical components were carried out. The result is a robust and safe system that increases productivity, reduces the physical workload of operators, and provides upgrade possibilities such as machine vision and long-term data traceability.
Keywords:Automation, transport system, magnetic particle inspection, steel bars, ejection mechanism
