Takšni razsmerniki imajo več prednosti pred trifaznimi, in sicer boljšo porazdelitev toka, manjše harmonsko popačenje in večjo zanesljivost delovanja.

Title:Modulation strategies for 6-phase inverter
Abstract:In my master's thesis, I researched various modulation strategies for a six-phase inverter used in power electronics systems. Such inverters offer several advantages over three-phase ones, including better current distribution, lower harmonic distortion, and higher operational reliability. I focused on sinusoidal pulse-width modulation (SPWM), overmodulation, and the addition of third and fifth harmonic components to improve output voltage. Using simulations in the MATLAB/Simulink environment, I analyzed how different strategies affect signal quality and total harmonic distortion (THD). In addition to simulations, I also conducted practical measurements on the inverter circuit. The results showed that with appropriate modulation, it is possible to achieve better voltage utilization while maintaining an acceptable level of distortion. The work provides useful guidelines for selecting modulation strategies based on application requirements.
