Abstract:Diplomsko delo obravnava objekt, zgrajen iz recikliranega materiala.

Title:Eco construction and recycled material
Abstract:The thesis addresses a building constructed from recycled material. Recycled plastic is used as the main construction material, while 3D printing technology is employed for the construction process. The theoretical part presents plastics, the most common types of plastics, recycling methods, and trends in the use of recycled plastics, as well as the issue of environmental oversaturation with waste. This is followed by a theoretical section on 3D printing, covering 3D printing technology, its analysis, advantages and disadvantages, design possibilities, sustainability, and efficiency, along with several reference examples. The fourth chapter comprises the project section. Based on spatial analysis, a location is selected where the building is designed. The building must be carefully planned to be functional and aesthetically appealing, as it will be constructed from recycled waste material. This part also includes the program concept, program brief, and structural concept. In the design and planning of the building, it is essential to consider that the introduction of an innovative element into the space must also harmonize with the surrounding environment.
