Abstract:Magistrska naloga obravnava problematiko izbire ključnih nabavnih dejavnikov pri organizaciji maturantskih plesov, ki predstavljajo specifično vrsto prireditev z visokimi zahtevami glede kakovosti, zanesljivosti in časovne usklajenosti.

Title:Using AHP and Delphi methods to determine key purchasing factors in event organization : the case of prom dances : magistrsko delo
Abstract:The master's thesis deals with the issue of selecting key purchasing factors in the organization of high school prom events, which represent a specific type of event with high demands on quality, reliability and time coordination. The purpose of the research was to identify and evaluate the factors that are most important when deciding on the selection of suppliers. The Delphi method was used in the research to identify factors and the Analytical Hierarchy Process (hereafter: AHP) method was used to determine their relative importance. Based on the opinions of experts in the field of organizing prom events, we created a hierarchical decision-making model that includes criteria such as price, quality, reliability, flexibility, time availability, ethics and sustainability. The results showed that the reliability, quality and time availability of suppliers are key factors that have a decisive influence on the successful implementation of proms. The Delphi method enabled consensus to be reached among the experts after the first round, while the AHP analysis confirmed the consistency of the assessments (CR < 0.1). Based on the results, we came to conclusions and designed a model that can serve as support for strategic purchasing decision-making in the event industry and represents a contribution to the development of multi-criteria decision-making in practice.
