Abstract:Diplomsko delo z naslovom Odziv otrok na izvajanje plesnih dejavnosti v integraciji z lutkovno vzgojo obravnava integracijo plesne in lutkovne vzgoje v predšolskem obdobju. V praktičnem delu smo načrtovali in izvedli osem priprav, v katerih so bile plesne dejavnosti integrirane z različnimi lutkovnimi tehnikami. S pomočjo evalvacij in opazovalnih protokolov smo analizirali odzive otrok.

Title:Children's response to dance avtivities in integration with puppetry
Abstract:The diploma thesis Children's Response to the Implementation of Dance Activities in Integration with Puppetry investigates the pedagogical integration of dance education and puppet education in early childhood settings. Both domains are integral to the kindergarten curriculum and contribute to the child's holistic development, particularly in the areas of creative expression, emotional regulation, and social interaction. The aim of the study was to explore how children engage with and respond to dance activities when these are embedded within puppet-based learning experiences. The research examined which puppetry techniques were most familiar to the children, during which activities they demonstrated greater movement creativity, in which contexts they exhibited increased emotional comfort, and how puppets influenced their motivation and self-expression. The theoretical framework outlines the developmental significance of dance and movement in the preschool period, followed by an overview of puppet education with a focus on various puppetry techniques. The role of emotions in artistic expression is also emphasized, given their close connection to both dance and puppet-based activities. In the empirical part, eight integrated learning modules were developed and implemented, combining dance activities with diverse puppetry techniques. Children's engagement was assessed through structured observation protocols and reflective evaluations. The findings suggest that the integration of dance and puppet education fosters enhanced creativity, supports emotional expression, and provides a safe and stimulating environment for self-exploration. These insights have practical implications for early childhood educators seeking to enrich their pedagogical approaches through interdisciplinary arts-based learning.
