Title:Development of a physical model and a digital twin of a collaborative workplace transport line
Abstract:Integration between physical and digital systems is nowadays crucial for the efficient and flexible operation of modern industry and is the foundation of Industry 4.0. One of the basic principles of Industry 5.0 is safe cooperation between humans and robots, and it also strives for the optimization of production processes. The final thesis involves the creation of a physical model of a minimised transportation line, with the aim of simulating a real workplace. At the same time, the creation of a digital twin is also shown, which enables monitoring and real – time interaction with the physical model. With the created digital twin, we can test various scenarios without risk, see how the system responds to changes, and analyze obtained results.
Keywords:Transport line, Industry 4.0/5.0, digital twin, collaborative workplace, automation, process simulation, system flexibility
