Abstract:V diplomski nalogi so bile analizirane obstoječe aktivnosti trajnostne mobilnosti v 12 enotah Vrtcev Občine Žalec z namenom sistematičnega pregleda stanja in oblikovanja podlag za nadaljnji razvoj programov. Predlogi vključujejo okrepitev kolesarskih aktivnosti, modularne učne enote, večje vključevanje staršev, sodelovanje z lokalnimi skupnostmi in izmenjavo dobrih praks.

Title:Analysis of existing sustainable mobility activities in kindergartens of the municipality of Žalec and proposals for their development
Abstract:In the thesis, existing sustainable mobility activities in 12 units of the Žalec Municipality Kindergartens were analyzed with the aim of systematically reviewing the current state and providing a basis for further program development. A combination of quantitative and qualitative methods was used, including a questionnaire that captured both the frequency and diversity of activities as well as in-depth responses from staff. The analysis showed that the most common measures are walks, walking to kindergarten, organization of cycling days, traffic polygons, and creative workshops. The emphasis is on traffic safety, which has the highest average ratings, while systematic environmental aspects are somewhat less represented. The most successful units stand out for integrating diverse activities, cooperating with parents, and connecting with external actors, while challenges remain with logistical constraints, time pressures, and the distance of certain units for some families. Recommendations include strengthening cycling activities, modular learning units, greater involvement of parents, cooperation with local communities, and the exchange of good practices. The development of innovative programs adapted to the age of children and the seasons is essential. The research highlights the need for greater systematicity and a community-based approach, offering a basis for developing an early childhood sustainable mobility strategy.
