Abstract:Magistrsko delo obravnava raziskavo izbire ustrezne tribološke kombinacije materialov in maziv z uporabo testnega stroja, ki simulira delovanje naprave Kontizink, pri kateri pogosto prihaja do pregrevanja, poškodb drsnih materialov ter pojava adhezivne in abrazivne obrabe med trenjem.

Title:Improving operational efficiency and reliability of kontizink press machine: an analysis of chain transmission overheating using a simulation test machine
Abstract:The master’s thesis investigates the selection of an appropriate tribological combination of materials and lubricants using a test machine that simulates the operation of the Kontizink device, in which overheating, damage to sliding materials, and the occurrence of adhesive and abrasive wear during friction frequently occur. For this purpose, various materials of sliding elements and types of lubricants were tested, with particular emphasis placed on the behavior of materials under higher loads, higher speeds, and conditions of insufficient lubrication. Based on comparative tests, the optimal combination of materials was selected, exhibiting the best characteristics in terms of mechanical stability and wear resistance. The thesis also presents the criteria for material and lubricant selection, the course of testing on a dedicated test machine, and the analysis of the influence of individual parameters on the final system performance.
Keywords:Chain links, sliding plates, tribology, friction, sliding properties, adhesive-abrasive wear, friction, Kontizink machine.
