Abstract:V sodobnem digitalnem okolju so spletne platforme postale nepogrešljiv del vsakdanjika, ki globalno omogočajo povezovanje, trgovanje in izmenjavo znanja.

Title:A comparative analysis of functions and interactions of online platforms for networking, ecommerce and education
Abstract:In the contemporary digital environment, online platforms have become an indispensable part of daily life, globally enabling connection, trade, and knowledge exchange. This master's thesis examines the impact of specific functions and interactions on user experience and business collaboration within these platforms. A gap was identified in research concerning the mutual influence and transferability of strategies between different types of platforms. Therefore, the work focuses on an in-depth analysis and comparison of functionalities and forms of interaction within three main categories: networking, e-commerce, and educational platforms. Findings indicate that functionalities and interaction mechanisms are crucial factors for platform success and user engagement, as well-designed features directly increase the level of interactions. Different types of platforms employ specific approaches to optimize user experience, ranging from multimedia elements and secure payment systems to personalized learning paths and gamification. Conclusions highlight the existence of good practices that can be transferred between various platform types, emphasizing the importance of ethical data handling for long-term trust.
Keywords:Online platforms, user connection, e-commerce, online education, functionality, interactivity.
