Abstract:Magistrsko delo obravnava področje managementa informacijskih projektov e-poslovanja, ki združuje elemente projektnega vodenja, informacijske tehnologije in poslovne strategije. Rezultati kažejo, da k uspehu informacijskih projektov e-poslovanja bistveno prispevajo ustrezno izbrane metodologije, učinkovito upravljanje zainteresiranih strani in strateška usklajenost digitalnih rešitev z organizacijskimi cilji.

Title:Management of e-business information projects
Abstract:The master’s thesis explores the management of e-business information projects, combining elements of project management, information technology, and business strategy. It examines the importance of effective leadership in digital projects, particularly within public administration, and highlights how different project management methodologies influence project success. The study analyzes the key characteristics and competencies of project managers in the IT sector, emphasizing the integration of technical and social skills and the role of agile approaches such as Scrum and Kanban. The empirical part presents a comparative analysis of the eUprava (Slovenia) and Gov.hr (Croatia) portals, along with Digital Decade (DESI 2024) indicators, used to evaluate the level of digital maturity in both countries. The findings indicate that the success of e-business information projects depends significantly on the appropriate choice of methodologies, effective stakeholder management, and the strategic alignment of digital solutions with organizational objectives. Based on these findings, an applied model was developed to provide guidelines for improving digital project management in Slovenia’s public administration and to promote the adoption of agile methods and modern approaches to digital transformation.
