Title:Advanced methods of guided workouts for women: impact on self-image and body composition
Abstract:The thesis investigates the effects of guided group exercise and strength training on body composition and psychological well-being in women. The purpose of the study was to identify differences between the two training approaches and to determine which of them more effectively contributes to improvements in body composition, self-image, and self-esteem. The empirical part of the research was conducted through a 12-week intervention involving 30 women who were divided into two groups: one participated in guided group workouts, while the other engaged in structured strength training sessions. Data collection included standardized questionnaires measuring body image and self-esteem, as well as body composition assessments. The results indicate that both forms of exercise positively influence physical and psychological outcomes. However, strength training demonstrated a more pronounced impact, particularly in increasing lean body mass, reducing body fat, and enhancing psychological factors such as self-confidence and perceived physical competence. Based on the findings, the study suggests that exercise programs for women should incorporate a greater emphasis on strength training, as it provides significant long-term benefits for both physical development and psychological well-being.
