V nalogi so predstavljene obveznosti poslovodstva v zvezi z delujočim podjetjem v skladu z različnimi računovodskimi okviri in postopki revizorja v skladu s trenutno še veljavnim in prenovljenim Mednarodnim standardom revidiranja 570. Predpostavko delujočega podjetja smo vsebinsko povezali s postopki zaradi insolventnosti podjetja in umestili presojo poslovodstva v zvezi predpostavko delujočega podjetja v postopke zaradi insolventnosti v skladu z Zakonom o finančnem poslovanju in postopkih zaradi insolventnosti in prisilnem prenehanju.

Title:Auditors' going concern assessments before insolvency: evidence from Slovenia
Abstract:The master's thesis presents the role of the auditor in assessing the going concern, the factors that influence going concern opinion, and cases of a type II error when the auditor either fails to reject the appropriateness of using the going concern assumption or fails to draw attention to material uncertainties related to the going concern. The thesis presents management's obligations in relation to the going concern under various accounting frameworks and auditor procedures in accordance with the currently valid and revised the International Standard on Auditing 570. We have substantively linked the going concern to corporate insolvency proceedings and integrated the management's assessment of the going concern in the insolvency proceedings in accordance with the Financial Operations and Insolvency and Compulsory Winding-Up Proceedings Act. In the empirical part, we have analyzed the impact of financial and non-financial factors on the auditor's opinion on companys' financial statements in the period between 2012 and 2022, one year before the initiation of insolvency proceedings. We found that auditors did not always consistently follow the revisions to the International Standard on Auditing 570 when preparing the auditor's report. We find that a previously modified opinion is one of the most significant predictors of a modified opinion due to the going concern, while capital inadequacy is the most significant predictor of the likelihood that the auditor will raise a material uncertainty regarding the going concern.
