Title:	Zavarovanje vodovarstvenega območja sistemskega vodnega vira Peričnik

Abstract:	V magistrskem delu je obravnavana tematika varovanja vodovarstvenega območja sistemskega vodnega vira Peričnik. Namen raziskave je predstaviti stanje na terenu, prepoznati tveganja, povezana z naravnimi značilnostmi in človekovimi vplivi, ter oblikovati priporočila za bolj učinkovitejšo zaščito vodovarstvenega območja vodnega vira Peričnik. V delu je predstavljeno področje upravljanja in varovanja vodovarstvenega območja Peričnik ter urejanja prostora, skupaj s hidrogeološkimi, organizacijskimi in pravnimi vidiki problematike na ožjem in širšem vodovarstvenem območju. Naloga je izdelana na podlagi kvalitativnih, opisnih in analitičnih metod. Uporabljene metode so: analiza dokumentov, pregled obstoječih strokovnih gradiv in zakonodaje, prostorska analiza in raziskovanje ter interpretacija tehničnih in hidrogeoloških virov. Najpomembnejša izhodišča predstavljajo raziskave Geološkega zavoda Slovenije iz let 2020 in 2022, ki so potrdile neposreden vpliv Triglavske Bistrice na vodni vir Peričnik. Rezultati te raziskave so zelo pomembni za razumevanje občutljivosti območja. Vodovarstveno območje Peričnik se nahaja v prostoru z naraščajočim turističnim obiskom. Ocenjuje se, da število obiskovalcev na območju že več let presega nosilno zmogljivost okolja. Eno od najpomembnejših tveganj na vodovarstvenem območju predstavlja neurejena infrastruktura, poleg tega pa še veliko drugih sistemskih težav, povezanih s pristojnostmi, zastarelo zakonodajo, pomanjkljivim nadzor in nezadostnim sodelovanjem vseh deležnikov v prostoru. Pri vsem skupaj izstopa dejstvo, da država kljub zakonski obveznosti še vedno ni sprejela uredbe o zaščiti vodonosnika za vodni vir Peričnik, zaradi česar se varovanje še vedno izvaja na podlagi občinskega odlok iz leta 1998. Ugotovitve v magistrskem delu kažejo, da je za dolgoročno varovanje vodnega vira Peričnik nujno izboljšanje situacije. Med najpomembnejšimi priporočili so: priprava uredbe o varovanju vodnega vira, krepitev nadzora nad posegi v prostor, ureditev infrastrukture in sistemsko upravljanje turističnega obiska.

Title:	Preservation of the water protection area of the Peričnik systemic water source
Abstract:	The master’s thesis discusses the protection of the water protection area of the Peričnik water source. The aim of the research is to present the conditions in the field, identify risks related to natural characteristics and human impacts, and prepare recommendations for more effective protection of the Peričnik water protection area. The thesis outlines the system for managing and protecting the Peričnik water protection area and the spatial planning framework, together with the hydrogeological, organisational and legal aspects relevant to both the narrow and the wider protection zones. The thesis is based on qualitative, descriptive and analytical methods. The methods used include document analysis, a review of existing professional materials and legislation, spatial analysis, and the examination and interpretation of technical and hydrogeological sources. The most important reference points are the 2020 and 2022 studies carried out by the Geological Survey of Slovenia, which confirmed the direct influence of the Triglavska Bistrica stream on the Peričnik water source. These findings are crucial for understanding the sensitivity of the area. The Peričnik water protection area is located in a space experiencing increasing tourist visitation. Estimates indicate that the number of visitors has exceeded the environmental carrying capacity for several years. One of the key risks in the water protection area is inadequate infrastructure, along with a number of other systemic issues related to responsibilities, outdated legislation, insufficient oversight and limited cooperation among stakeholders. A particularly important issue is that, despite a legal requirement, the state has still not adopted a regulation on the protection of the aquifer for the Peričnik water source, which means that protection is still carried out on the basis of a municipal decree from 1998. The findings of the master’s thesis show that improving the current situation is essential for the long-term protection of the Peričnik water source. The most important recommendations include adopting a regulation on the protection of the water source, strengthening oversight of spatial interventions, improving infrastructure and implementing a more systematic approach to managing tourist visitation.
