Abstract:Diplomska naloga z naslovom Generacija Z in vinski turizem raziskuje vedenje, preference in pričakovanja mladih, rojenih med letoma 1997 in 2012, glede vinskih destinacij in vinskih doživetij.

Title:Generation Z and wine tourism
Abstract:The thesis titled Generation Z and Wine Tourism explores the behaviors, preferences, and expectations of young people born between 1997 and 2012 regarding wine destinations and wine experiences. It focuses on the impact of digital media, social networks, and sustainable and innovative approaches in wine tourism, with an emphasis on the Dolenjska region in Slovenia. Generation Z proves to be an active tourist group that values high-quality, visually appealing, and social wine experiences, often combining wine tourism with culinary and social activities. Digital presence of wine destinations is crucial for attracting their attention, yet young people still prefer authentic personal experiences and recommendations from friends. They are price-sensitive when purchasing wine but willing to pay more for quality and experience. Online wine purchases remain less popular among Generation Z. The thesis highlights that the success of wine providers depends on adapting their offerings to the values and lifestyles of Generation Z, using modern digital tools, sustainable practices, and comprehensive wine experiences.
