Abstract:Hidrogeli predstavljajo skupino polimernih materialov s hidrofilno strukturo, ki jim omogoča zadrževanje velikih količin vode. V raziskavi so bili pripravljeni hidrogeli na osnovi kvarternega hitozana in hialuronske kisline s polielektrolitsko kompleksacijo pri različnih molskih razmerjih in stopnjah ionskega zasenčenja. Hidrogeli so bili pripravljeni brez uporabe toksičnih zamreževalcev. Kemijske in fizikalne lastnosti hidrogelov so bile ovrednotene z Fourierjevo transformacijsko infrardečo spektroskopijo (FTIR), meritvami nabrekanja ter rotacijsko in oscilatorno reološko analizo.

Title:Preparation and properties of hydrogels with polyelectrolyte crosslinking of polysaccharides for biomedical applications
Abstract:Hydrogels represent a group of polymeric materials with a hydrophilic structure capable of retaining large amounts of water. In this study, hydrogels based on quaternized chitosan and hyaluronic acid were prepared by polyelectrolyte complexation at different molar ratios and degrees of ionic screening. The hydrogels were synthesised without the use of toxic crosslinking agents. Their chemical and physical properties were evaluated using Fourier-transform infrared spectroscopy (FTIR), swelling measurements, and rotational and oscillatory rheological analysis. In addition, the ability to incorporate amoxicillin into the hydrogel network was investigated during dialysis. The results indicate that the composition of the hydrogels significantly influences their properties and highlights their potential for further application in various biomedical fields.
Keywords:hydrogels, quaternary chitosan, hyaluronic acid, polyeletrolyte complexation, rheological properties, biomedical applications
