Pešci so v današnjem času vse več izpostavljeni nevarnostmi v prometu. Kot udeleženci v cestnem prometu spadajo med najbolj ogrožene prometne udeležence. Pogosto so žrtve prometnih nezgod zaradi neustreznega ravnanja voznikov, svojih napak ali zaradi neustrezno urejenih površin za pešce. Abstract:
Pedestrians are nowadays getting exposed to more and more dangerous situations in traffic. The pedestrian is the weakest and the most vulnerable participant in traffic. Sometimes they cause accidents themselves but more often they are victims of reckless behaviour of drivers or bad design of surfaces in traffic, which are supposed to protect and enable safe participation of pedestrians in traffic.
