Abstract:Povzetek V diplomski nalogi smo proučevali vpliv izobrazbene in starostne strukture kmetov na vzdrževanje strojev za varstvo rastlin.

Abstract:In this diploma work the education and age influence on the maintenance of plant protection instruments was researched. On testing locations of Faculty of Agriculture and Life Sciences the base of sprayers was established; most devices are of age between 5 and 15 years, 18 % of owners regularly and simultaneously maintain the devices. Most of them (52.67 %) carry out the repairs by themselves, but only 40% of them clean thoroughly their devices and only 21.33 % of them on the specially prepared washable surface. From the registers of the Faculty of Agriculture and Life Sciences it is evidently that the number of regularly tested sprayer devices is rising. To that fact mostly a »Zakon o obveznem pregledovanju naprav za varstvo rastlin« contributed. Despite some irregularities, the condition on this area is improving because more individuals passed the course. A plant protection examination and the use of protective equipment, calculations of water use are made, registers of plant protection products are maintained and more additional information about efficiency of this product are acquired. The results of the survey showed that users on the testing of sprayers are between 30 and 40 years old (33 %) and they have finished secondary or primary school. All the results indicate that testing of devices with additional advising and warning of environmental impact is reasonable. With all that, the condition of devices can be improved and consequently there can be positive impact on water and environment pollution.
