Abstract:Predšolsko obdobje predstavlja ključno obdobje za oblikovanje temeljnih gibalnih, socialnih, čustvenih in kognitivnih sposobnosti.

Title:Project work and the preschool child
Abstract:The preschool period is a crucial stage for the development of fundamental motor, social, emotional, and cognitive competencies. Project work as a method of active learning influences children's curiosity, creativity, and critical thinking, and promotes learning through experience and exploration. The thesis is based on a systematic review of the literature involving an analysis of Slovenian and international scientific and professional literature sources retrieved from the following databases: COBISS, Google Scholar, Wiley, and ERIC. Inclusion criteria were taken into account when using the included literature. These included the availability of the text in its entirety, the language of the accessible text being Slovenian or English, and publication of the text within the past 10 years. The empirical part of the research is based on the analysis of eight studies related to the selected research topic. The findings indicate that project work has a positive impact on children, as it increases their motivation, activity, and willingness to cooperate, while effectively improving their oral language skills, creativity, critical thinking, and responsibility.
