Abstract:	Prispevek obravnava plemiško rodbino Rogaških, katere člani so v 13. stoletju na današnjem slovenskem Štajerskem posedovali več gradov ter igrali znatno vlogo v štajerski lokalni politiki. Njihovi člani so poleg tega ustanovili ženski dominikanski samostan v Studenicah. Več članic rodbine je v omenjenem samostanu tudi našlo svoj dom. Ustanoviteljica samostana je bila Sofija Rogaška (†1277/1278). Z možem preživelih otrok očitno ni imela, tako da se je po njegovi smrti posvetila skrbi za njegov (in svoj) dušni blagor.

Title:	The lords of Rogatec and their role in the foundation of the Studenice monastery
Abstract:	The article focuses on the noble family of the Lords of Rogaška, whose members owned several castles and played a significant role in local politics during the thirteenth century in present-day Slovenian Styria. Members of this family also founded the Dominican convent at Studenice, where several female members of the lineage later entered the religious community. The founder of the convent was Sophia of Rogaška (†1277/1278). As she and her husband apparently had no surviving children, she devoted herself after his death to ensuring the spiritual salvation of both her husband and herself.
