Abstract:Prometna obremenjenost v Ljubljani je ključni izziv magistrske naloge, kjer 70 % dnevnih prihodov poteka z osebnimi avtomobili, kar povzroča zastoje, onesnaženost zraka (PM2.5, NO2) in letno izgubo 23 milijonov evrov produktivnosti, kljub ciljem Celostnega prometnega načrta za 66-odstotni delež trajnostne mobilnosti do 2027.

Title:Optimization of sustainable mobility in Ljubljana
Abstract:Traffic congestion in Ljubljana is the key challenge of the master's thesis, where 70% of daily arrivals occur by private cars, causing traffic jams, air pollution (PM2.5, NO2), and an annual productivity loss of 23 million euros, despite the Comprehensive Traffic Plan's goal of a 66% share of sustainable mobility by 2027. The thesis follows the CRISP-DM methodology, processing data from OPSI, BicikeLj, and LPP using Orange, Tableau, and Excel tools; the ARIMA model predicts a 23% traffic growth by 2030 without interventions. Five optimization scenarios (cycling paths -10%, remote work -15%, buses -6–8%, green zone with cameras -12%) draw inspiration from European examples (Stockholm, Amsterdam), while the SWOT analysis highlights data strengths and acceptance challenges.
Keywords:traffic congestion, sustainable mobility, data mining, green zone, ARIMA forecast
