Abstract:Izobraževanje je pomemben del človekovega življenja. Pomen izobraževanja je pomemben, saj lahko z njim pridobimo strokoven in zaupanja vreden kader v vseh poklicih. Tudi pri zasebnem varovanju se morajo varnostniki izobraževati in usposabljati, da lahko profesionalno opravljajo svoje delo. Izpolnjevati morajo določene pogoje, ki so predpisani v zakonodaji, saj le tako lahko ohranjajo strokovnost in varnost. Posledica tega pa je zaupanje javnosti v kader. Cilj diplomskega dela je podrobneje predstaviti izobraževanje kadra za varovanje kot temelj strokovnosti in zaupanja v zasebno varovanje v Republiki Sloveniji. V teoretičnem delu je predstavljeno izobraževanje kadrov na splošno in zakaj je to pomembno, katere metode izobraževanj poznamo in s kakšnimi izzivi se pri tem srečujemo. Poudarek je na izobraževanju zasebnega varovanja in ureditvi zasebnega varovanja v Republiki Sloveniji. V empiričnem delu pa so predstavljeni rezultate raziskave, in sicer intervjuji, ki so bili opravljeni z različnimi skupinami, ki se srečujejo z zasebnim varovanjem v Republiki Sloveniji. Rezultati so pokazali, da ima izobraževanje pomembno vlogo kot temelj strokovnosti in tudi zaupanja v zasebno varovanje. Še vedno pa je premalo poudarka na praktičnem usposabljanju, ki bi ustvarilo še bolj usposobljen kader. Potrebna bi bila prenova usposabljanj, ki se trenutno izvajajo v Republiki Sloveniji in so temelj za opravljanje poklica varnostnika, saj je prevelik poudarek na teoriji in ne dovolj na praksi, kar je velik primanjkljaj. Usposabljanje in izobraževanje v Republiki Sloveniji pa poteka skozi ves čas opravljanja poklica varnostnika, kar zagotavlja, da kader pri delu ohranja profesionalnost.

Title:TRAINING OF SECURITY PERSONNEL AS A BASIS FOR PROFESSIONALISM AND TRUST IN PRIVATE SECURITY IN THE REPUBLIC OF SLOVENIA
Abstract:Education is part of each of us and is an important part of life. The importance of education is significant, as it is the only way to obtain professional and trustworthy staff in all professions. Even in private security, security guards must be educated and trained to perform their work professionally. They must meet certain conditions prescribed by law, as this is the only way to maintain professionalism and safety. The result of this is public trust in the workforce. The aim of this thesis is to present in detail the training of security personnel as the basis for professionalism and trust in private security in the Republic of Slovenia. The theoretical part presents staff training in general and why it is important, what training methods are available, and what challenges we face in this regard. The emphasis here is on private security training and the regulation of private security in the Republic of Slovenia. The empirical part presents the results of the research, namely interviews conducted with various groups that encounter private security in Slovenia. The results showed that education plays an important role as the foundation of professionalism and trust in private security. However, there is still too little emphasis on practical training, which would contribute to even more qualified personnel. It would be necessary to revamp the training courses currently being conducted in the Republic of Slovenia, which form the basis for working as a security guard, as there is too much emphasis on theory and not enough on practice, which is a major shortcoming. Training and education in the Republic of Slovenia continue throughout the security guard's career, ensuring that staff maintain their professionalism.
