Title:Role of dance games in promoting cooperation and group dynamic among children
Abstract:The thesis entitled Role of Dance Games in Promoting Cooperation and Group Dynamics Among Children consists of a theoretical and a practical part. The theoretical part presents the importance of dance in the preschool period, dance activities, and cooperation and group dynamics among children. It also outlines various goals and principles of dance education, as well as approaches to planning dance activities. In addition, the thesis explains how dance can be used as an effective tool for promoting cooperation and group dynamics among children, while also highlighting the important role of the preschool teacher in this process. The practical part includes the preparation and implementation of six dance and movement games, designed to encourage and strengthen cooperation and group dynamics among children. In kindergarten, we performed each dance-movement game twice and compared the differences between the first and second performance, according to cooperation, interaction and expression between the children. Based on the performance, we found that dance games play an important role in promoting cooperation and group dynamics among children.
