Abstract:Namen magistrskega dela je analiza termičnih, mehanskih in kemičnih lastnosti fotonapetostnih kablov, odvzetih iz petih različnih fotonapetostnih modulov.

Title:Chemical, mechanical and thermal analysis of cables in photovoltaic modules
Abstract:The aim of this master's thesis is to analyze the thermal, mechanical, and chemical properties of photovoltaic cables taken from five different photovoltaic modules. The study addresses the issue of reliability and safety of photovoltaic cables, which represent an important component within photovoltaic systems. Special emphasis is placed on the requirements of relevant standards that define the criteria for the design, construction, and application of photovoltaic cables. The work includes the application of various analytical methods to determine cable properties and their behavior under operating conditions. X-ray spectroscopic analysis is used to determine the chemical composition of materials, thermal analysis combined with thermography is employed to monitor temperature variations under different imposed current loads, and microscopy is used to examine the structural characteristics of conductors and insulation layers. Based on the conducted analyses, a comprehensive insight into the influence of material and structural properties of photovoltaic cables on their performance is obtained, providing a basis for assessing their reliability and compliance with relevant standards.
