Abstract:Magistrsko delo obravnava uporabo nizkonapetostnih oklopljenih zbiralk kot povezavo med transformatorjem in nizkonapetostnim sestavom.

Title:Analysis of thermal and mechanical durability of low-voltage shielded busbars
Abstract:This master’s thesis addresses the use of low-voltage shielded busbars as a connection between a transformer and a low-voltage switchgear assembly. The theoretical part presents their design and the procedure for their specification in accordance with the standard SIST EN 61439. Using a real case study of the design of an industrial 20/0,4 kV transformer substation, the procedure for dimensioning cable, busbar, and insulated busbar connections is demonstrated, including an analytical calculation of short-circuit conditions in the network. Furthermore, the finite element method is employed to analyze thermal and mechanical effects, as well as electromagnetic forces under nominal and short-circuit loads of the air-insulated busbar trunking system. Finally, a cost-benefit analysis of various low-voltage connections is conducted for transformers with power ratings of 630, 1.000, 1.250 and 1.600 kVA.
Keywords:industrial plants, busbar trunking systems, shielded busbars, finite element method, cost analysis
