| Abstract: | This thesis explores the management and motivation of professional basketball teams. The study examines how leadership styles and motivational strategies impact team performance, cohesion, and success.
The theoretical part covers key concepts in sports management and psychology, including communication, goal setting, and pressure management. The research uses semi-structured interviews with basketball coaches and a comparative analysis of their leadership and motivational approaches.
Results show that team success relies not only on players’ skills but also on effective leadership, communication, and adaptability. Coaches using flexible management and diverse motivational strategies achieve stronger team cohesion and performance. |
