Abstract:V diplomskem delu obravnavamo organizacijsko kulturo v turističnem podjetju x. Hospitality Culture Scale). Zbrali smo 126 popolnoma izpolnjenih vprašalnikov. Rezultati kažejo zmerno pozitivno zaznavanje organizacijske kulture, pri čemer sta bili najvišje ocenjeni dimenziji raznolikost dela (povprečje 4,52) in usmerjenost h gostu (povprečje 4,04).

Title:Analysis of organizational culture in the tourism company x
Abstract:The diploma thesis examines organizational culture in tourism company x. The aim of the study was to determine the actual state of organizational culture, to assess whether employees perceive the company's values and norms of conduct as clearly defined and whether they consider organizational culture to be intentionally managed, and to examine the relationship between the perception of organizational culture and employee job satisfaction. The theoretical part draws on a review of professional literature and defines key concepts in the field of organizational culture, with particular emphasis on the hospitality and tourism industry. The empirical part presents a quantitative study conducted using an anonymous questionnaire based on the Hospitality Culture Scale (HCS). A total of 126 fully completed questionnaires were collected. The results indicate a moderately positive perception of organizational culture. The highest-rated dimensions were variety of work (average score 4.52) and guest relations (average score 4.04), while the leadership principles dimension received the lowest scores (average score 3.26), particularly regarding fairness of reward and clarity of feedback. Employees perceive organizational culture as largely spontaneously developed rather than intentionally guided. Employee job satisfaction was moderately high (average score 3.80) and consistently higher in areas where organizational culture was also rated more positively. The findings suggest that the company has a strong foundation in the variety of work and guest orientation, while leadership and the clarity of shared values remain areas for improvement. The study offers concrete recommendations for a more systematic approach to managing organizational culture, the implementation of which could contribute to higher employee satisfaction and the long-term success of the company.
