Abstract:Pevski zbor v vrtcu predstavlja pomembno obliko glasbene dejavnosti, ki otrokom omogoča razvijanje glasbenih sposobnosti in doživljanje umetnosti. Sodelovanje v pevskih dejavnostih spodbuja sodelovanje, občutek pripadnosti in socialno povezanost.

Title:Development of an Interactive Manual for Planning Choral Lessons in Kindergarten
Abstract:The kindergarten choir represents an important form of musical activity that enables children to develop musical abilities and experience art. Participation in choral activities fosters cooperation, a sense of belonging and social connection. As a choirmaster the preschool teacher encourages children's interest in singing by providing a high-quality example through singing and appropriate song selection. The development of an interactive manual for planning choral lessons in kindergarten would enable preschool teachers to easily plan singing lessons according to children's age, learning objectives, song selection and thematic units. The theoretical part of this thesis examines the effect of music and singing on preschool children, choral singing in kindergarten as well as the planning and implementation of singing activities. In the empirical part of the thesis preliminary observations of singing in kindergarten were conducted and compared in three different age groups of children. Based on the findings, an interactive manual with structured singing activities was developed, including its overall design and content. In the second part of the empirical study the manual was evaluated using a questionnaire completed by preschool teachers. The obtained information was used to interpret the findings and to formulate suggestions for further improvement of the manual.
