| Abstract: | This paper presents a new system of electronic commerce for construction process in Slovenia called eConstruction. The addressed system is currently being introduced in administrative authorities across Slovenia and is expected to be fully enforced by the beginning of 2026. The article reveals the course of system development and its implementation through an action plan. The system features that support electronic commerce both in administrative procedures and in construction site operations are demonstrated. The anticipated beneficial effects of the system’s implementation are highlighted as well. The present work is intended to serve as an informative source to nearby countries dealing with the construction process digitization as well as to participate vital facts about the subject under consideration between a wider international professional public to incite discussion and suggestions for enhancements. |
