Abstract:Diplomsko delo obravnava pomen plesnih didaktičnih iger pri izvajanju plesne improvizacije otrok v vrtcu.

Title:The impact of didactic games on children's dance improvisation
Abstract:The thesis deals with the importance of dance didactic games in the implementation of dance improvisation in kindergarten children. It consists of a theoretical part, in which we define the theoretical foundations of our research. The purpose of the research was to observe children during dance improvisation before and after the implementation of didactic games and to determine whether there would be differences between the first and the final observation from different perspectives. In the research, we used a descriptive and casual non-experimental method. The sample included 22 children aged 4 to 5 years, from which 8 children were randomly selected for observation. Data were collected using an observation protocol, and the results were presented in tables. The results of the research showed that dance didactic games had a positive effect on the development of dance improvisation in children. After the activities, children demonstrated a greater variety of movement, better coordination, and more creative use of space. We found that dance didactic games represent an effective approach to encouraging dance improvisation in preschool children.
