Abstract:Diplomsko delo obravnava zadovoljstvo zaposlenih v podjetju, ki opravlja diagnostično slikanje z magnetno resonanco in računalniško tomografijo. Podatki so bili obdelani z deskriptivno statistiko, Pearsonovim koeficientom korelacije in enovzorčnim t-testom. Trendi fluktuacije in absentizma so ugodni in nakazujejo postopno izboljševanje delovnega okolja.

Title:Employee satisfaction in a radiological diagnostic centre
Abstract:This thesis examines employee satisfaction at a company providing diagnostic magnetic resonance imaging and computed tomography services. The aim of the thesis was to assess the current level of employee satisfaction, identify the key factors influencing it, and propose measures for improvement. The theoretical part reviews the academic foundations of employee satisfaction, including its key drivers and causes of dissatisfaction, the consequences of dissatisfaction, and the indicators of absenteeism and employee turnover. The empirical part was based on a structured questionnaire covering six thematic areas, supplemented by an analysis of human resources data for the period 2020–2024. A total of 28 employees participated in the survey. Data were analysed using descriptive statistics, Pearson correlation coefficients, and a one-sample t-test. The results indicate that employees are generally moderately satisfied. Working conditions and job tasks received the most positive evaluations, while reward systems and advancement opportunities emerged as the weakest areas. Communication proved to be the strongest predictor of satisfaction (r = 0.83), followed by the sense of being valued (r = 0.76) and advancement opportunities (r = 0.71). Of the six hypotheses tested, three were confirmed, one was partially confirmed, and two were rejected. Trends in turnover and absenteeism are favourable and suggest a gradual improvement in the working environment.
