Abstract:V magistrski nalogi je predstavljena celovita analiza uporabe in integracije hranilnikov vodika v energetske sisteme stanovanjskih zgradb. V zaključku naloge so predstavljeni predlogi za učinkovito vključevanje hranilnikov v prihodnjo energetsko zasnovo stavb z vidika trajnosti, energetske samozadostnosti in varnosti.

Title:Analysis of the use and integration of hydrogen storage system in the energy systems of residential buildings
Abstract:This master’s thesis presents a comprehensive analysis of the use and integration of hydrogen storage systems into residential buildings energy systems. Hydrogen is increasingly recognized as the energy of the future, as it enables long−term storage of renewable energy and thus contributes to the decarbonization of the energy sector. The thesis focuses on various types of hydrogen storage systems, their technical characteristics, their integration within building subsystems, and the safety aspects that are essential for successful implementation in residential environments. The theoretical part includes an overview of hydrogen storage technologies (compressed, liquid, chemical, and hybrid systems) and their potential use in combination with other energy sources. Special attention is devoted to safety risks such as hydrogen leakage, explosive mixtures, and temperature effects, as well as technical solutions for mitigating these risks. In the conclusion, the thesis presents proposals for the effective inclusion of hydrogen storage systems in future building energy designs from the perspectives of sustainability, energy self−sufficiency, and safety.
Keywords:hydrogen, hydrogen storage systems, hydrogen production and storage, energy systems, safety aspects
