Pregledane so bile podatkovne baze PubMed, Web of Science, Cochrane Library in ScienceDirect, sledili smo smernicam PRISMA ter uporabili narativni opis. Razprava in zaključek: Supervizija predstavlja pomemben prispevek k izboljšanju delovnih pogojev in kakovosti zdravstvene nege.

Title:The role of supervision in reducing stress among nurses
Abstract:Introduction: Stress among nurses is a significant problem that affects their health, job satisfaction, and the quality of patient care. Supervision offers support, encourages reflection, and helps employees cope with stressful situations and become aware of the positive effects of supervision. Methods: A literature review was conducted on the impact of supervision in reducing stress among nurses. A search strategy was used with specific keywords and criteria for including and excluding articles. The databases PubMed, Web of Science, Cochrane Library, and ScienceDirect were searched, followed the PRISMA guidelines, and used a narrative description. Results: Using inclusion and exclusion criteria and limitations, we identified 805 articles. After removing inappropriate, irrelevant, and inaccessible articles, we included 6 studies in the final analysis and synthesis. We found that supervision significantly contributes to reducing nurses’ stress. Discussion and conclusion: Supervision represents a significant contribution to improving working conditions and the quality of nursing care. Despite these positive findings, supervision is still not systematically integrated enough in practice. The results highlight the need for its regular integration into the clinical setting and for further research.
