Abstract:V magistrskem delu je obravnavana statična ustreznost modularne zelene strehe in njen vpliv na trietažni objekt Plus Line bivalnih enot. Obtežbe in kombinacije so bile določene skladno z evrokodi in nemškimi nacionalnimi dodatki.

Title:Structural analysis of a green roof structure and assessment of its impact on the three-storey Plus Line modular building
Abstract:This master’s thesis assesses the structural adequacy of a modular green roof unit and its impact on a three-storey Plus Line modular building. The green roof is designed as a standalone steel add-on installed on the existing roof of a housing unit; therefore, it was analysed first as an independent structural system and subsequently within the assembled three-storey building. Loads and load combinations were defined in accordance with the Eurocodes and the German National Annexes. The adopted design inputs were a characteristic snow load sₖ = 2.5 kN/m² and a basic wind velocity of 27.5 m/s. The structural model and analysis were performed in SCIA Engineer using the finite element method. Ultimate and serviceability limit state checks were evaluated using envelopes of internal forces, deflections and support reactions. The results show that the modular green roof unit is adequately dimensioned as a standalone structure. For the three-storey building, a critical element was identified at the ground floor corner column made of 4 mm plate, where utilisation reached 104%. Replacing this member with an equivalent 5 mm plate solution brought the utilisation within acceptable limits and ensured structural compliance.
