Metode: Zaključno delo temelji na pregledu znanstvene literature, dostopne v podatkovnih bazah CINAHL Ultimate, MEDLINE (EBSCOhost Web), PubMed, Scopus in Web of Science.

Title:Use of AI-based chatbots for physical activity recommendations
Abstract:Introduction: Physical exercise is an effective health intervention that reduces the risk of various diseases. AI-based chatbots could increase the physical activity of individuals due to their easy accessibility and quick responsiveness. The aim of the thesis is to determine the effectiveness of AI-based chatbots in generating recommendations for physical exercise. Methods: The thesis is based on a review of scientific literature available in the databases CINAHL Ultimate, MEDLINE (EBSCOhost Web), PubMed, Scopus, and Web of Science. The literature search process is presented using a PRISMA diagram. Articles that met the criteria were presented in an evaluation table, and a synthesis of the findings was conducted. Results: By analyzing eight articles, we found that AI-based chatbots currently do not generate optimal physical activity recommendations. Despite some advantages, such as easier access to information and increased engagement in physical activity, they cannot completely replace professional staff. Their biggest limitation was the unreliable provision of information. Discussion and Conclusion: AI-based chatbots are a promising tool, but due to the limitations of the information provided, they are currently suitable for more experienced users. Due to the rapid development of artificial intelligence, it is expected that the usability of chatbots will continue to evolve.
