Abstract:
Bolečina je eden najpogostejših problemov, s katerim se srečuje zdravstveno osebje na področju pediatrije. Nezadostno obvladovana bolečina lahko pri pediatričnih pacientih povzroči kratkotrajne kot tudi dolgotrajne negativne posledice, kot so strah pred zdravstveno oskrbo in povečana občutljivost na bolečino. Zato je iskanje učinkovitih nefarmakoloških metod za obvladovanje bolečine ključnega pomena. Namen zaključnega dela je ugotoviti, kako uporaba glasbene terapije vpliva na obvladovanje bolečine pri pediatričnih pacientih.

THE IMPACT OF MUSIC THERAPY ON PAIN MANAGEMENT IN PEDIATRIC PATIENTS
Abstract:
Pain is one of the most common problems encountered by healthcare professionals in the field of pediatrics. Inadequately managed pain in pediatric patients can cause both short-term and long-term negative consequences, such as fear of healthcare and increased pain sensitivity. Therefore, finding effective non-pharmacological methods for pain management is of crucial importance. The purpose of this thesis is to determine how the use of music therapy affects pain management in pediatric patients.
