Iskanje je potekalo v podatkovnih bazah CINAHL Ultimate, PubMed in Web of Science. Za sintezo podatkov so bile uporabljene metode analize, kompilacije in sinteze. Postopek je prikazan z diagramom PRISMA. Rezultati: Motnje v operacijski sobi so bile najpogosteje povezane s komunikacijo, hrupom, z vstopanjem in izstopanjem oseb ter s težavami z opremo.

Title:Disruptions in the operating room and the safety of surgical patients
Abstract:Introduction: Disruptions in the operating room can affect the concentration of medical staff, team communication, and thus the safety of surgical patients. The purpose of the thesis was to investigate how disruptions in the operating room affect the safety of surgical patients. Methods: A literature review was conducted using the PIO approach. The search was performed in the CINAHL Ultimate, PubMed, and Web of Science databases. A total of 7 studies were included in the analysis, selected according to predefined inclusion and exclusion criteria. Methods of analysis, compilation, and synthesis were used for data processing. The process is presented in the PRISMA diagram. Results: Disruptions in the operating room were most often related to communication, noise, people entering and leaving, and equipment-related problems. The included studies showed that disruptions reduce attention, impair team communication, prolong operative time, and increase the risk of errors and patient safety complications. Discussion and conclusion: The findings show that disruptions in the operating room significantly endanger the safety of surgical patients. Reducing them is crucial for improving the quality of perioperative care.
