Abstract:V diplomskem delu so analizirane možnosti uvajanja avtonomnih dostavnih robotov v Sloveniji, s poudarkom na njihovi uporabi v zadnji fazi dostave.

Title:Development of guidelines for the implementation of delivery robots in modern logistics processes
Abstract:The thesis examines the potential for introducing autonomous delivery robots in Slovenia, with a particular focus on last-mile delivery. It addresses the technological, safety, infrastructural and regulatory conditions that influence their practical deployment in urban environments. The thesis presents selected models of autonomous delivery robots and their key characteristics and includes a SWOT analysis highlighting their potential to improve delivery efficiency, reduce urban traffic pressure and lower environmental impacts. At the same time, it identifies key challenges, including an unclear regulatory framework, insufficiently adapted infrastructure and safety-related concerns. The findings suggest that autonomous delivery robots have development potential in Slovenia, particularly through carefully managed pilot projects. However, wider deployment will require a clearer legal framework, targeted infrastructure adaptations and coordinated cooperation among key stakeholders. For this purpose, the thesis also develops guidelines providing cities with step-by-step recommendations for planning, testing and implementing autonomous delivery robots in urban logistics systems.
Keywords:freight transport, autonomous delivery robots, last-mile delivery, city logistics
