Abstract:Kronična vnetna črevesna bolezen (KVČB) je imunsko pogojena bolezen, katere pojavnost narašča.

Title:The role of a plant-based diet in the management of inflammatory bowel disease
Abstract:Inflammatory bowel disease (IBD) is an immune-mediated condition with increasing prevalence. Diet plays an important role in its development and progression, with plant-based diets showing potential anti-inflammatory effects. Although research suggests that a plant-based diet may have positive effects in individuals with IBD, the question of how this dietary pattern influences the management of chronic inflammatory bowel disease symptoms remains unresolved.
Keywords:plant-based diet, chronic inflammatory bowel disease, remission, diet
