Abstract:	V prispevku so predstavljeni literarnozgodovinski zapisi o Janku Glazerju, pesnikovi razmisleki o lastni poeziji in kritiške ocene njegovih zbirk iz časa pred 2. svetovno vojno (Po-horske poti, 1919, Čas-kovač, 1929). Glazerjeva poezija vse do desetletja po drugi svetovni vojni ni bila ustrezno ovrednotena. Glazer je bil največkrat opredeljen le kot pokrajinski pesnik Pohorja, držali so se ga tudi očitki o posnemanju Župančiča, čeprav je že zgodaj izoblikoval lastno pesniško poetiko. Po izidu zbirke Čas-kovač je njegova pesniška moč začela usihati tudi zaradi negativne ocene te zbirke izpod peresa dveh uglednih kritikov.

Title:	Views on Glazer's poetry
Abstract:	The article presents literary-historical writings about Janko Glazer, the poet’s reflections on his own poetry, and critical assessments of his collections from the period before World War II (Pohorske poti, 1919; Čas-kovač, 1929). Glazer’s poetry was not adequately evaluated until a decade after the war. He was most often defined merely as a regional poet of the Pohorje area, and was also reproached for imitating Oton Župančič, although he had already developed his own poetic poetics at an early stage. After the publication of the collection Čas-kovač, the strength of his poetic production began to decline, partly as a result of the negative assessment of this collection by two prominent critics.
